Tobesoft subsidiary Smile Build has completed registration as a start-up planner... “Creating a venture ecosystem in Gimpo”

Smile Build (CEO Ho-sang Lee), a subsidiary of Tobesoft (CEO Gyeong-chan Lee), has completed registration as a startup promoter (accelerator) with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. A start-up planner is a corporation (business) that discovers early-stage start-ups and provides business space, mentoring, and investment.

Tobesoft, a company specializing in DX (digital transformation) solutions, has been providing the renowned UI/UX development platform known as 'Nexacro' for over 20 years, and is building a knowledge industry center with a total floor area of 32,940㎡ (9,964 pyeong) in Janggi-dong, Gimpo-city. It owns ‘Terraviz Tower’.

As Smile Build has completed registration as Gimpo's first startup planner, it will conduct a startup planner (accelerator) business that provides comprehensive childcare services such as angel investment, provision of business space, and mentoring, based on 'Terrabiz Tower' owned by parent company Tobesoft. Is expected. Furthermore, we plan to actively develop startup clusters to create a startup ecosystem.

In the future, Smile Build plans to actively utilize Tobesoft's experience in the ICT industry and technical support assets accumulated over more than 20 years to foster start-ups and venture companies. In particular, we plan to secure ample startup space of more than 330㎡ (100 pyeong) in Terrabiz Tower, and provide welfare facilities such as a dormitory (paid) and a cafeteria to maximize the convenience of tenant companies.

Tobesoft is also promoting the establishment of a business incubation center that provides business space and management skills and information to prospective or new start-ups. It is expected to serve as a base for fostering start-ups for prospective entrepreneurs with novel ideas and technical skills.

Lee Im-chan, President of Tobesoft, said, “To revitalize the startup ecosystem in the Gimpo region, we will create an environment to attract young, talented, innovative startups,” and added, “We will do our best to achieve mutual growth with startups and venture companies.” .

Meanwhile, Tobesoft is actively promoting developer training by conducting Nexacro expert training courses. Talented people who want to build UI/UX development capabilities, such as developers and planners in various fields, are participating. Currently, participants of the 6th class are undergoing training at the headquarters and students for the 7th class are being recruited.
